We had a great first month of classes! It is wonderful to have so many new and familiar faces back in the studio.
If you haven’t seen it yet, please take a peek at our beautiful new studio update. Also, our improved online payment system is now up and running! Click here to pay your tuition online. You have one more chance to pay for the entire season and receive 10% off. New this year: recurring payments! Set up your account securely on our website to have tuition paid automatically each month.
Just a reminder: We do not close for fall break – there is just too much dancing to do! Our next studio closing is Thanksgiving break from November 23-25.
Don’t forget you can find out important dates, dress codes, and studio policies under Your Studio on our website. New to the school this month? Be sure to pick up a water bottle in the studio dressing room!

Studio Spotlight: Anne Johansson, Executive Director
Thanks for taking the time to read our newsletters each month. We hope this will be an easy way to stay in touch and keep you up to date on what’s happening in the studio at The Children’s Ballet and in our local arts community.
This season, as a non-profit school, we will be partnering with local organizations and increasing our involvement in community events. We will also be informing you on how we are raising and using funds–every dollar goes right back into the school to help us keep tuition low and the quality of our dance education high.
My vision and philosophy for the direction of The Children’s Ballet is to foster an educational and creative environment where every child feels safe to be exactly who they are. Students will be challenged and trained in classical ballet by our excellent instructors, but they will also learn how to move and carry themselves, how to make healthy choices and take care of their body, and what a positive body image looks like. My wish is that our students learn respect, discipline, and an appreciation for the art of dance. But, most of all, I hope they have fun experiencing all the rewards that ballet class has to offer.
Thank you for coming along with us as we begin our 30th season at The Children’s Ballet. Please contact me at any time with questions or concerns.
