The spring performance includes parts written and choreographed for your dancer. Learning dances is a team effort; each students’ participation and attendance is vital to the success of each class’s dance. Please notify the studio at emily@thechildrensballet.com if a student must miss classes after February 1st.

Rehearsals and performances will be held at Danville Community High School. Students must be available for all rehearsals the week before the performance (May 26-28). General schedule is Tuesday through Thursday 5:00-8:00 pm (rehearsals), Saturday 5:00-9:00 pm (performance), and Sunday 1:00-5:00 pm (performance).

Tickets will be available for pre-sale starting May 1. More information to come (they go fast; get them early!). Performance Guides will go home soon. Check out the Performance FAQs in the meantime, or let us know if you have any questions!

Adult Classes

Join a class just for adults on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. Classes start January 11 at our studio. No dance experience needed. Wear what is comfortable and come when you can. Buy a $100 punch card and use on up to 10 classes (through May 23).

How To Register

1. Click here to visit our online registration portal.
2. Select “Create Account” at the top of the page.
3. Once you have created an account, select “Home” at the top of the registration portal page.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the registration portal page and select the green “Register” button next to Adult Classes.

Building Our Future

We have exciting news! A very generous patron has come forward to match what we need to raise in order to begin our new construction. This is where you come in…

We’ve been working hard to raise money for an additional studio and improvements to our existing building, but haven’t reached our goal yet. Can you help us reach it?

Our goal is $7,000 (which will be matched), and we cannot reach it without your help. We are asking you to consider a gift of $25 to the building fund by the end of January. If each of our ballet families contributed $25 we would be over halfway to our goal!

Hadassah began her teaching career at the age of 16, receiving her teaching certification with Dance & Gym USA. As part of her professional career she has taken various classes led by dancers such as Travis and Denise Wall, Ray Leeper, Mark Meismer, and Kim McSwain  among others. Hadassah has also participated in master classes led by cast members of the Broadway Touring Productions including Beauty and the Beast, Wicked, and Chicago and was chosen Broadway Bound student by cast members of Beauty and the Beast and Wicked. We are so grateful to have Miss Hadassah at The Children’s Ballet where she serves as teacher of our intermediate and advanced classes and Director of Pointe.
